ShiftSync

ShiftSync

A Timeshifter alternative you can actually use today

Timeshifter helped put circadian science on the map. But its shift-work app sits at 2.83 stars on Google Play, and recent reviews describe saved shifts disappearing. It now offers a 30-day trial with no card — fair enough — but it's still an app-store download, and it was built for jet lag first. If your roster starts this week, your browser is faster.

ShiftSync was built for exactly that gap: a circadian sleep planner for night-shift nurses, doctors, EMS, flight medics, warehouse teams, truckers, and dispatchers that runs in your browser — no app download, no app-store account, no invite.

The honest notes

ShiftSync is a web app, not a native app. It works on any phone or computer browser, and your plan saves to your account — sign in on a different device and your schedule comes with you. ShiftSync plans sleep around shifts; it is not a medical device and does not diagnose sleep disorders.

Questions switchers ask

How long does it take to get used to night shift?

Most people feel human again in two to three weeks — if their sleep block stops drifting. The method that makes the difference is anchor sleep: one block that stays in the same place every day. Our anchor-sleep guide walks through it.

My current app keeps losing my shifts. Does ShiftSync?

Your schedule saves to your account and follows your sign-in — open ShiftSync on any device, sign in, and your shifts are there. No app update can wipe them, and switching phones doesn't mean starting over.

Do I have to download anything?

No. ShiftSync is a website that behaves like an app — it works on any phone or computer browser.

Try the planner your roster actually needs

Tonight's 3 steps are on the calculators without a card — no account needed. The full planner — the whole week, the 72-hour fatigue forecast, saving your schedule, and calendar export — is behind the 7-day trial, so you see everything before you pay anything. 7-day free trial — your card is charged on day 7 when the trial ends. Cancel before day 7 ends and pay nothing.
